Emtec wins M&E role on University of Edinburgh Nucleus project

Emtec Building Services is to provide the mechanical and electrical services on behalf of McLaughlin & Harvey for the King’s Buildings Nucleus Phase 1 project for the University of Edinburgh.
The new building will comprise of learning and teaching facilities, student services, a shop and a variety of catering outlets.
The new building will also include:
- A central atrium
- Breakout/group pods/touchdown spaces
- Group study rooms
- 400-seat lecture theatre
- 132-seat teaching studio
- Two 300-seat lecture theatres
- Two 150-seat lecture theatres
- 100 student teaching lab with 50 fume cupboards
