English solar shading firm expands into Scotland
A St Albans-based solar shading specialist for the construction and architectural industry is to expanding the business with the opening of two additional offices in the Midlands and Scotland.
Contrasol said the moves comes in response to an increase in demand for its products and services.
Supplementing existing operations in Manchester and the UK head office in St Albans, the company’s expansion provides Contrasol with a strong spine nationally to optimise the growing solar shading market, in the UK (as well as Europe).
New to the team are Adam Crowe and Dan Tongue who head up the Midland’s office, based in Leicestershire. Adam and Dan bring with them a wealth of sales development and project experience, and strong regional connections to further communicate the products and services offered by Contrasol.
Heading up the office in Scotland is another new member to the team, Andrew Britt. Andrew has extensive experience in business development and engineering and will seek to expand Contrasol’s project presence locally, which represents a tremendous opportunity for expansion in the North of England.
The company’s success stems from strong leadership, quality products and attention to the needs of its customers. Its innovative, design focused service solution sets it apart from its competitors and it is now in a strong position to develop further sales in the Midlands and Northern England.
Contrasol’s managing director, Mark Barnard, said: “We’ve been providing highly professional solar shading solutions to our clients for more than 12 years. Recently we have developed some exciting new products which complement our existing range perfectly. Our aim is to promote this professional service and product offering, to both existing and new clients across the wider National market.
