A commercial director at Ashleigh (Scotland) Limited, Mr Clark has been a director of SBF since earlier this year.

Ian Honeyman, commercial director for SBF, said: “The Contractors Legal Group is the organisation that acts as the College of JCT, representing the interest of main contractors in the development of standard forms of contract.

“Euan’s knowledge and experience within the industry is already of great benefit to SBF and this appointment will further strengthen our representation on CLG and add another Scottish voice to both its workings and the JCT Council.”

Commenting on his appointment, Euan Clark said: “I am delighted to be appointed to the CLG. It is a critical body for the future success of the construction sector, as we try to recover from the economic impact of the pandemic.

“As a director of a Scottish-based main contractor, I hope to use my experience to contribute meaningfully and ensure that our voice is heard as we try to re-establish momentum of out lockdown, and stabilise the future of our sector.”
