Fundraising success at Walk with Scott Foundation Golf Day
The inaugural Walk With Scott Foundation Golf Day took place on October 2 on the spectacular East Course at Dalmahoy Hotel and Country Club, sponsored by Cut Price Timber, with an impressive £2,390 raised to date.

The sun was shining as 60 golfers took on the challenge in their teams of four in a Texas Scramble format.
As the golfers arrived they were given a goody bag full of treats donated by Business Fives, Nairns Oatcakes and S’wheat bottles. They received their breakfast roll and coffee to get them fired up and raring to go!

There was a great buzz and atmosphere around the full event. Once all the teams had teed off, Colin, director of sales at Dalmahoy, drew the raffle which included some great prizes.
Scoring was very close as the players passed the registration desk after the ninth hole. It was clear that it was going down to the wire! And so it proved with two teams finishing with an impressive score of 58 (15 under par), separated only by a countback of the back nine.

A team representing Scottish Construction Now finished close behind with 61
As the teams completed their round they were treated to a cupcake donated by Kick’s Kakes and the winning raffle prizes were handed out.
