Having worked with Morgan Sindall most recently by delivering the enabling works at its Riverbank Community Hub project, the Innovation award was in recognition of the significant investment that GDL made in GNSS (GPS) technology for setting out/surveying, machine control and utility avoidance.

The technology allows GDL to collate real-time data and ‘as-built’ information to manage productivity and comply with quality control and health and safety procedures on site.
