Michael Anderson and Cheryl Edgar previously held legal director positions in the residential property team and are based in the firm’s offices in Edinburgh and East Lothian, respectively.

Mr Anderson joined Gilson Gray’s residential conveyancing division in 2018 following a five-year period with Purdie & Co Solicitors. His legal career spans 24 years, with nearly two decades specialising in property and the Edinburgh market, including buying, selling, remortgaging and representing buy-to-let investors.

Ms Edgar has over 30 years’ experience in conveyancing and property law covering Edinburgh and East Lothian. She joined Gilson Gray five years ago as senior associate and has been central to the development of its offering in North Berwick. Previously, she held roles at Garden Stirling Burnet and Anderson Strathern.
