Glasgow apartments plan withdrawn by applicants
A plan to build apartments in a section of a hotel parking area in Glasgow has been withdrawn.
In September, Jurys Inn and Leonardo Hotel applied for planning permission in principle in relation to their premises at Great Western Road, beside Gartnavel Hospital.
Forty-nine flats, comprising of a mixture of one, two and three bedrooms, were proposed to be built over six floors in a building overlooking Bingham’s Pond.
Basement car parking would have featured in the development.
No explanation has been given for the withdrawal of the application or details whether a revised proposal will be submitted, ReGlasgow reports.
More than 50 objections had been received from members of the public and the local community council.
