The triangular site at 147 Dumbarton Road, between Benalder Street and Coopers Well Street, near the junction with Byres Road, is currently vacant.

Design plans for the restaurant by Neil Rothnie Architecture include a single-storey building with a mezzanine level.

Spokesperson for Cater, Ewan Gibson, said: “We at Cater are all excited to have picked up this site in a fantastic location. Having already received planning, we are looking forward to constructing this unique build and having a hand in regenerating a previously derelict plot.”
