Established in 2020, Glasgow Street Aid has already treated its 4,000th patient and operates as a pre-hospital medical and welfare charity, alleviating the burden on both the ambulance service and A&E departments by providing on-site care within Glasgow’s city centre.

The charity relies on donations to continue providing its essential services to the people of Glasgow.

Becky Blair, area service manager for Glasgow Street Aid, expressed her gratitude: “We cannot thank Mac Mic Group enough for the incredible donation from its Mac Mic Foundation. To be contacted by them out of the blue was the nicest surprise and to be supported by a big company like them is such a privilege.

“We are just a small Glasgow-based charity of volunteers who are doing what we can to provide medical and welfare assistance to those in need in Glasgow city centre each weekend, so every single donation helps us keep doing this. Thank you so much for this amazing and much-needed donation.”
