Graham Construction wins Dumfries school scheme deal
Graham Construction has been appointed the main contractor to demolish or redevelop a range of primary and secondary schools in Dumfries.
Plans for investment of £100 million which will affect almost every school in Dumfries have been revealed to the public.
Dumfries and Galloway Council confirmed the Dumfries Learning Town Project is a solution to years of underinvestment and will see a range of primary and secondary schools demolished or redeveloped.
The plans were unveiled at St Joseph’s College.
Phase 1 of the project involves works to 11 schools, including four secondary schools and aims to commence in 2016. Phase two will follow in 2018.
