Green light for 20-home apartment block in Yorkhill
A new apartment block containing 20 two-bedroom homes is set to be built in Yorkhill at the corner of Gilbert Street and Teviot Street.

Plans submitted by Surplus Property Investments were given approval by Glasgow City Council.
The building will have five storeys with a rooftop amenity space and a lower ground floor car parking area with 13 spaces. There would be storage space for 34 bikes.
A design statement submitted to Glasgow City Council with the application read: “The development proposal will create a new coherent urban block which complements the existing urban grain of the area.”
