On the morning of Friday, 28 July, Jim Webster and Murray Henderson started out on a route via iconic landmarks across Europe to reach Berlin, where the pair first hatched the plan to go into business together while in a bar with the same name.

The pair aim to raise £10,000 for homelessness charity The Marie Trust and are already more than 50% of the way to their target. Donations have come from friends, family, and colleagues, as well as Scottish businesses who have sponsored their cycling jersey, including Moda, Westpoint Homes, Ediston, Kelvin Properties, PMI Developments, Urban Pulse and Breck Property.

HAUS director Jim Webster said: “The support we’ve received so far has been overwhelming. Our initial idea was to take this time to reflect on the last ten years and look ahead to what’s next, but the idea appears to have inspired those around us and their generosity has already propelled us halfway to our fundraising goal!”

HAUS director Murray Henderson added: “Jim and I know this ride will be challenging, but we are motivated by the opportunity to raise funds and awareness for The Marie Trust. We’ve put in the long months of training and are ready for the adventure ahead!”
