Homes for Scotland agrees new Annual Lunch partnership with Burness Paull
Homes for Scotland (HFS) has announced a new three-year deal with commercial law firm Burness Paull LLP for sponsorship of its flagship Annual Lunch.
The event, which attracted some 1,100 senior representatives in 2019, is the largest such industry gathering and is followed by an awards ceremony showcasing the high-quality work that the sector produces and the innovative practices it engages in.
Taking place on Friday 29 May 2020 at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, next year’s Annual Lunch will be hosted by impressionist and comedian Jon Culshaw.
HFS chief executive Nicola Barclay said: “We are delighted to announce this three-year partnership with long-standing HFS associate member and Lunch sponsor Burness Paull.
“With the event having grown in both standing and stature, Burness Paull’s ongoing support has enabled us to improve our offering year-on-year and we are delighted to confirm Jon Culshaw as our 2020 host. The feedback I receive every year from guests is that it really is the must attend in the industry’s calendar.”
Burness Paull partner Scott Peterkin added: “Homebuilding and the wider housing sector are key building blocks of the Scottish economy, and it is essential the industry has a strong voice to enable it to thrive. The work that Homes for Scotland does on behalf of its members is vital in ensuring policymakers and regulators are well-informed and working constructively with the sector.
“That’s why we are really pleased to continue our strong partnership and support the Annual Lunch for another three years. It brings together the key players in the sector to highlight the excellent work being done in Scotland and recognise those who are delivering it through the prestigious awards ceremony.
“We look forward to seeing clients and stakeholders across the industry in May for what will no doubt be another first-class event.”
With pre-Lunch reception sponsor NHBC also confirming its ongoing support up until 2022, bookings for the event will open to HFS members at the end of the year.
