Housing association appoints new head of property services
Thenue Housing has unveiled who is to be its next head of property services.
Eleanor Derbyshire has been appointed succeeding Beth Reilly who retires at the end of August after 28 years.
Announcing the appointment, chief executive Charles Turner said Eleanor would be an exceptional successor to Beth.
Ms Derbyshire joined Thenue earlier this year as property services manager after a long period with Sanctuary Homes where she was senior development manager. Prior to that, she was with Scottish Homes.
Ms Derbyshire said: “I’m delighted to be taking up this new role at an important time for Thenue as we continue to build much-needed homes for the people we serve.
“I also want to pay tribute to Beth whose invaluable contribution to Thenue over so many years cannot be underestimated. I look forward to taking up my new role at the beginning of September.”
Mr Turner added: “We are delighted to welcome Eleanor to her new role at Thenue and look forward to her input to the work we do in our communities.
“This is an important senior position within Thenue which has been undertaken with outstanding professionalism and commitment over a long period of time by Beth Reilly.
“We wish Eleanor well in her new role and also convey our best wishes for a long and happy retirement to Beth.”
