Increased work sees Collective Architecture open Edinburgh office
Collective Architecture has responded to a growing portfolio of work on the Scotland’s east coast with the launch of a new Edinburgh office.
Situated on Grindlay Street within a former takeaway, the new studio will operate as a complimentary space to the practice’s Glasgow head office and will be responsible for overseeing work in Leith, Dundee, Galashiels and Edinburgh itself.
The new office also goes hand in hand with Collective Architecture’s expansion across the North of England and London.
Collective Architecture celebrated the launch with a party for clients, collaborators, colleagues and friends at the Collective Gallery on Calton Hill.
The practice is currently working with Collective Gallery to deliver a new arts hub at the City Observatory complex and is one of three architects selected for the City of Edinburgh Council Framework.
Director Jude Barber said: “We are delighted that Collective Architecture continues to evolve and grow with our new studio in Edinburgh. It’s a real privilege to celebrate with friends and collaborators in such an inspiring, important setting.”
