ISG has promoted Scotland managing director, Andy McLinden, to the newly created post of managing director for Scotland and Northern England – expanding his remit to head up the contractor’s Manchester, Liverpool and Bradford offices.

Since establishing a permanent presence in Scotland in 2010, ISG’s Scottish business has rapidly grown to become a major force in the country’s built environment sector.

Founded in 2010, the business now turns over £60 million and employs over 80 staff at its Buchanan Business Park headquarters in Glasgow.

As one of the founding team, Andy has been instrumental in the company’s impressive growth trajectory north of the border and will now lead an enlarged Northern England and Scotland business, comprising over 270 staff.

Andy McLinden comments: “This is a really exciting moment for the business as we bring together the capabilities of the Scottish and Northern construction businesses and provide a seamless service to customers across the north of the UK. We have an excellent pool of talented professionals in our enlarged business and there is real strength and depth in the diversity of our people and on their focus to deliver outstanding customer experiences.”
