The Grangemouth headquartered company has already supplied a wide range of equipment including tower lights, an HD Tandem Roller, 8t excavator, 9t dumper and a 10’ safestore.

The scheme will see a new 7,290 capacity main stand constructed for Scottish Premiership side Heart of Midlothian FC, replacing the existing 102-year old structure.

“Through regular sponsorship initiatives we’ve had an affinity with Hearts for a number of years, so we were delighted to be asked to be part of this major project,” said Jarvie Plant’s sales director, Iain Hutchison.

The £12 million development has reached the stage of steel erection with structural beams and roof trusses arriving on site to be hoisted into place, before the curtain walling commences.

“As the project gathers pace this month we’ll have more kit arriving on site including an 18m access platform and 18m telehandler,” added Mr Hutchison.

Jarvie’s involvement at Tynecastle is the latest in a string of projects and depot announcements since the start of 2017. The firm recently supplied Scotland’s largest rotating telescopic telehandler to a major infrastructure project in New Cumnock, south-west Scotland.

The Magni RTH 5.35, with a reach of up to 35 metres (some 5 metres more than industry standard) can lift loads or personnel up to 1,000kg using its extended boom lift.

Meanwhile, next month, the firm will open a new depot in Manchester. The 1.5-acre in Astley to the north-west of the city will mark their first foray south of the border.
