The JR Group led the development on behalf of renowned salon, Mesart Hair Design, which already has premises in Finnieston and Uddingston.

The project saw the 6,000 sq ft Ducati building receive full corrective works including structural remedials to the perimeter walls and floors and the removal by hand of the former roof before the fit-out scheme could get underway.

The fit-out comprised of many elements including rebuild of the stone wall with additional windows inserted.  A new midfloor was also installed to provide a level working surface for the client’s workforce. 

The JR Group, which specialises in innovative solutions in construction and building services, worked seamlessly with the design team on this unique and bespoke project which breathed new life into the building which dates back more than 130 years.

The team managed multiple trade partners onsite including tilers, electricians - providing a full new rewire and extensive lighting package - plumbing and air conditioning contactors, also providing water and heating, CCTV, security and av contractors. They also commissioned a team of joiners to create bespoke meeting pods elevated above the main workspace and highly-skilled decorators were brought in alongside a spray painter to add an impressive mural to the main wall of the salon.
