60 guests, including suppliers, business partners and subcontractors, attended the event hosted by the Paisley-based firm at the Pollok Golf Club to enjoy a day of fairway fun and fundraising.

As well as teeing off in team rounds of golf, attendees also enjoyed networking with fellow industry professionals as well as food and drinks.

All funds raised are being donated to Beatson Cancer Charity, which supports people affected by cancer – from research and funding to patient and family support.

John Horne, managing director of The JR Group said: “It was great to be able to once again host our annual JR Group Golf Day and see such a fantastic turnout on the day. We always aim to add a charity aspect to these networking events so we were absolutely thrilled to be able to raise £2,000 for an amazing cause – the Beatson Cancer Charity.

“We hope that this donation will help to support those affected by cancer, as well as aid the charity to fund vital research towards one day finding a cure. I’d like to thank everyone who took part in our event and supported our fundraising for Beatson.”
