JR Group hands over 48 new homes in Old Kilpatrick

The JR Group has successfully delivered 48 new homes at Dumbarton Road, Old Kilpatrick, handing over the development to clients, Link Group, ready for new residents.
The collection of energy-efficient homes which were built for social-rent, include a mix of one- and two-bedroom properties over two six-storey blocks. They also include ground-floor units which are fully wheelchair accessible.
The development – which has been delivered with energy-efficiency in mind – benefited from the many specialist divisions of The JR Group, to ensure the smooth delivery of the project.
Located on the former site of Dalnottar House across from Forth & Clyde Canal, the site was previously used for industrial purposes and was home to a steel fabrication unit.
As well as the new homes, there is appropriate parking, a new access point, as well as communal open space and soft landscaping including a central courtyard area between the two blocks of flats to create a strong sense of community.
Andrew Dallas, projects director for The JR Group, said: “It is great to be able to hand over this project to Link Group. We were incredibly proud to help our client visualise it as a great place to live, creating warm, energy-efficient homes, fit for the future.
“The flats are a great addition to Old Kilpatrick, and we wish all the new residents a very warm welcome to their new homes.”
