Kellyanne takes on the role of operations director, whilst John has been promoted to contracts director, firming up the firm’s commitment to nurturing its own talent and recognising the existing skills and expertise within its business.

Starting as an office junior 22 years ago, Kellyanne Conway has climbed through the ranks, currently holding the role of office manager and is the machine behind every operation of the business.

Kellyanne has been recognised with many awards throughout her career with JR Scaffold including various accolades from Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce, and the Warmworks Scotland Community Award as part of a contract she has overseen for the past six years.

Annemarie Horne, scaffolding director, who set up the business with her husband John in 1995 was delighted to appoint Kellyanne to her new role. She said: “Kellyanne is like a daughter to us. She is at the very core of our business and has a fantastic relationship, not only with our team but with clients too. Her loyalty and unwavering attitude to go above and beyond to help those around her has been exceptional and will stand her in good stead as she moves into the role as our operations director.

“Kellyanne’s progression has been a long time in the making but with the continued growth and success of the business, we felt the time was right. We look forward to seeing Kellyanne continue to thrive in her new position.”

John Jack, who is currently JR Scaffold’s contracts manager, is taking the step up to contracts director and has been instrumental in driving forward some of the businesses’ key projects in recent years.

John joined JR Scaffold 12 years ago as contracts supervisor and is second in command to managing director John Horne in the day-to-day running of the business. He is responsible for managing the team on-site and liaising with clients regarding the contracts program of works.

John Horne, managing director of JR Scaffold, added: “I am thrilled to elevate John to contracts director. His dedication is second to none and he is one of the most honest and trustworthy people I have ever known, which has made him very popular with our team and clients alike.

“His desire and drive to make JR Scaffold the best it can be, filters through the team and he is a true inspiration to us all. His service and attention to detail has helped put us on the scaffolding map, which is a fantastic platform to start from as he takes on the job as contracts director. He is hugely respected by all and very deserving of this recognition.
