Kevin Keane promoted to director at Allied Surveyors Scotland

Allied Surveyors Scotland has promoted Kevin Keane FRICS to director of operations.

Kevin, who joined the firm in 2023 as quality and training manager, has been instrumental in supporting the professional development of the company’s surveyors and strengthening relationships with panel manager and lenders.

With a distinguished career spanning more than a decade at e.surv Chartered Surveyors, Kevin brings extensive industry experience and a strong commitment to operational excellence.



In his new role, he will focus on enhancing efficiencies, maintaining key relationships and drive growth initiatives ensuring the business continues to deliver the highest standards across the industry.

Commenting on his promotion, Kevin said: “I’ve really enjoyed my time at Allied Surveyors Scotland, working alongside a fantastic team that takes great pride in what they do. Moving into this new role gives me the opportunity to contribute further to the business, supporting its continued growth and ensuring we remain well-positioned for the future.” 

Kevin takes on this role following the retirement of Len Marsh, who has been a highly respected and valued member of Allied Surveyors Scotland. Throughout his tenure Len has made significant contributions to the firm, helping to shape its operational success whilst ensuring high standards across the business.

Grant Robertson, chairman of Allied Surveyors Scotland, acknowledged Len’s dedication: “Len has been a vital part of Allied Surveyors Scotland and his leadership and expertise have played a key role in our continued growth. His commitment to excellence has been unwavering, and we sincerely thank him for his years of service. We wish him a long and enjoyable retirement.”



Len will remain with the company until the end of the month to ensure a smooth transition.

As Kevin steps into his new role, his leadership will be instrumental in shaping the firm’s future. Grant Robertson expressed his confidence in Kevin’s ability to drive the company forward: “Kevin has already demonstrated outstanding leadership and a deep understanding of our business. His commitment to professional development and operational excellence makes him the ideal person to take on this role. Beyond his work at Allied Surveyors Scotland, Kevin is an active leader in the profession serving as a board member of RICS in Scotland and an ambassador for Lion Heart. He remains a strong advocate for the future of the surveying profession and the built environment.
