The £2.1 million development, with funding of £1.1m provided by the Scottish Government, features a diverse housing mix including semi-detached houses, cottage flats and amenity bungalows.

The new properties were built by Larkfleet Homes and provide residents with highly energy-efficient homes which meet Housing For Varying Needs and Kingdom’s own design standards. The project has achieved Building Controls Full Bronze and Silver Aspects 1& 2 standard of sustainability through the installation of photovoltaic panels on all properties.

The project is the second phase of the neighbouring development bringing the total number of homes in Bonnybank owned and managed by Kingdom to 25.

Scott Kirkpatrick, Kingdom’s development director, said: “Our latest development at Bonnybank builds on the first phase and brings even more affordable housing to a stunning part of Fife. The homes have been provided off the shelf from Larkfleet Homes and offer a cohesive design language across a variety of property types.”

He added: “Not only do they look great, but the homes are highly energy efficient too. Kingdom has a long standing commitment to sustainability and operating in a way that is sympathetic to the environment. Excellent levels of insulation combined with photovoltaic panels means lower fuel bills for our tenants, which is better for them and better for the environment.”
