Knight Property Group strengthens team with new development director
Commercial property developer Knight Property Group has appointed a development director to manage its growing portfolio in the central belt of Scotland.
Alan Clark joins the company this month following two and a half years as associate director at commercial and project services consultancy company Hargreaves Jones Ltd.
Alan’s vast experience includes over 18 years within a managerial role. After three years as development manager at CLS Holdings Ltd in London, Alan moved to Edinburgh where he continued his experience within the property industry.
Howard Crawshaw, director at Knight Property Group, said: “With our Edinburgh portfolio continually expanding and the launch of our latest project, Edinburgh House, it’s important that we have the right person overseeing our central belt developments. Alan has fantastic industry experience and we’re delighted he has chosen to join the Knight team.”
Knight Property Group has spent in excess of £20 million in Edinburgh over the last 18 months, acquiring properties in prime locations including George Street, Castle Terrace and the most recent being the acquisition of £12m development Edinburgh House.
Commenting on his appointment, Alan Clark said: “I am delighted to undertake my new role within the company. I look forward to drawing upon my experience gained in previous positions and I am excited to support Knight’s further expansion within the central belt.”
Knight, established in Aberdeen in 1987, provides a broad range of property investment and development services to clients in a number of industries.
