KR Group accreditations reaffirms commitment to excellence
Northeast steel, sheet metal and cladding specialist KR Group is celebrating the successful recertification of its UKAS ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards, as well as EN 1090 and FASET accreditations.
The achievement underlines the company’s unwavering commitment to the highest level of service and operational efficiency for its valued clients.
KR Group, based in Aberdeenshire, went through a rigorous independent audit of its processes and systems to ensure compliance with international standards across health and
safety, environmental and quality.
UKAS ISO 9001 is a globally recognised standard for quality management, while ISO 14001 and 45001 ensure excellence in environmental performance and occupational health and safety. KR Group also holds the EN 1090 standard to execution class 3, which regulates the fabrication and assembly of steel and aluminium structures. Furthermore, it is the only business north of Glasgow with FASET (Fall Arrest Safety Equipment Training) accreditation, demonstrating excellence in working at height safety.
For KR Group’s clients, these accreditations guarantee that every aspect of a project — from design to completion — will be executed to the highest standards, with a business that prioritises environmental responsibility and enhanced health and safety.
Kenny Robertson, managing director at KR Group, said: “Our recertification across these standards speaks to the dedication and professionalism of our entire workforce. Crucially, it reinforces the trust our clients place in us to deliver projects with the utmost care for quality, safety and the environment.
“We have held these accreditations for some time now and strive to improve year on year, to ensure our customers benefit from best-in-class construction and engineering services. I’m very proud of the team for upholding these standards of excellence, and never resting on their laurels.”
