LDC highlights strong first year with £19m worth of new projects
Principal contracting specialist Linear Design & Construct (LDC) has completed its first full year of trading by securing £19 million worth of new projects and a forward order book currently forecasting a turnover of £15m for the year ahead.
Over the period, LDC secured contracts across a broad spectrum of industries from education to office, retail and historic refurbishment, demonstrating the far-reaching expertise and capability of the team.
Key contracts secured or preferred bidder status during 2019 include the extensive office rationalisation project for South Ayrshire Council via hub South West; Lothian Buses new flagship customer centre in Edinburgh; the refurbishment of the Grade C listed HQ of the Scottish Bible Society; the full refurbishment of Gretna Gateway Outlet Village and the high spec office fit-out of KPMG Aberdeen.
During its first year of trading, LDC has also recruited exceptionally well by adding 15 Tier 1 staff to its team.
