The three-phase workstream is being undertaken by the firm’s in-house planned maintenance division known as Asset Management which has been on-site since August 2022.

The 90-home second phase was completed earlier this spring with a further 93 households – comprising 460 window sets – will commence this summer over a 12-week programme.

All of the window sets have been fabricated by CCG in its advanced manufacturing premises in Cambuslang.

The principal material for the windows, which are each double-glazed, is PVCu with the profiles being provided by one of the world’s largest polymer suppliers, REHAU. A form of thermoplastic, PVCu is a highly durable material that is impervious to weathering and rot, ensuring a 40-year lifespan. Up to 50% of the material composition is also recycled.
