Contracting and fit-out specialist Linear Group has announced the launch of a new division dedicated to providing expert solutions across fire, acoustics and compartmentation to ensure optimal compliance across these vital areas for building owners, managers and developers.
The news comes as the froup’s annual turnover exceeded £30 million, up from £24m in 2019, and signifies ongoing growth across the existing contracting and fit-out divisions which operate from offices in Glasgow and Manchester.
Linear Building Compliance (LBC) becomes the third division within the group and has been launched in response to an increase in clients’ needs across the specialist areas of fire door inspections and maintenance, fire compartmentation and acoustics solutions, including insulation and reverberation.

“This comes following a challenging year across the industry, but we’re delighted to be able to drive forward our growth, topping the £30m turnover mark this year, and we are projecting to double this within the next year in line with our ambitious plans and robust pipeline. This achievement is down to the hard work and commitment of our teams across the UK, and their unwavering tenacity in the face of extraordinary circumstances.”
