Luddon Construction completes new HQ for Oregon Timber Frame

Luddon Construction has completed a new state-of-the-art headquarters for Oregon Timber Frame in Selkirk.
The project involved the construction of a modern two-storey office building, seamlessly integrated with Oregon’s existing manufacturing facilities.
The office, built with a steel frame and finished with a combination of anthracite cladding, facing brickwork, and new car park, will serve as the company’s new operational hub, supporting its continued growth.
The project scope included:
- a steel-framed office building with high-quality external finishes including Tata Anthracite cladding, facing brickwork, and Bauder roofing;
- extensive internal fit-out, including raised access flooring, acoustic panelling, glazed screens, specialist joinery, and a fully equipped pedestrian lift; and
- comprehensive external works, including the formation of new roads, service yards, car parking (including EV charging stations), footpaths, landscaping, and green spaces to enhance the working environment.
The project’s community benefits included an interactive visit to Tweedbank Primary School, where P1 pupils learned about construction and witnessed a digger in action, as well as donations to a foodbank and the provision of surplus materials to local charities.
Oregon Timber Frame’s joint managing director, Peter Wade, said: “The Oregon staff and I are delighted with our newly constructed office build, with the move from old to new going seamlessly.
“Luddon have provided a modern and spacious new office block with great attention to detail.
“I look forward to continuing our working relationship with Luddon on the next phase of our expansion project, with the extension of two existing factories.
“The extra capacity provided by the modernisation of our buildings and equipment, will greatly support our ambitious future growth plans.”
