Most recently, Mark was business head of the driven piling division at Balfour Beatty, where he successfully maintained and increased gross margin and turnover year on year.

With over 17 years’ experience in the specialist piling and ground engineering industry, Mark will assume responsibility for the piling department moving forward in line with Aarsleff Ground Engineering’s business plan.

In his new role, Mark will be directly responsible for the overall driven piling business including the technical and operational management of contracts awarded, the development of strategic long-term plans and the planning of recruitment and resource. Overseeing a fleet of 12 No driven precast piling rigs with associated plant and equipment, Mark will also be leading a team of contracts engineers.

Mark joined the company on September 2.
