Martin Cassels named new CEO at Galbraith
Property consultancy Galbraith has announced the appointment of Martin Cassels as chief executive officer, who takes up post from 1st April 2020.
The appointment has been announced as Galbraith builds on a sustained period of growth for the firm.
Martin Cassels succeeds Pam Over who completes her three-year term as CEO this month. Mrs Over remains as a partner of Galbraith and a member of the firm’s Commercial team. Pam commented: “It has been a great privilege to serve my term as CEO and I am certain that our firm’s development will continue apace under Martin’s leadership.”
Iain Russell, chairman of Galbraith, said: “We are extremely grateful for the outstanding contribution Pam has made to the operation and scope of our business during her tenure as CEO, and she will continue to make her mark as a leading partner in the firm.
“We have enjoyed a lengthy period of expansion across all our multi-disciplinary services under Pam’s leadership, and we are delighted to announce the appointment of Martin, an experienced and respected partner in the firm, who will continue to drive Galbraith forward.”
Martin, who joined Galbraith in 2008 and has previously led the firm’s Building Surveying business, said: “It is a great honour to lead the firm into its next phase of development, growth and success. The hallmark of Galbraith has always been our commitment to the highest standard of personal client service, being innovative and having a wide service offering, and that remains at the core of our approach to business.
“Despite the unprecedented current circumstances caused by the coronavirus pandemic, we will spare no effort in maintaining those levels of service, and adapting to a new way of working.”
