Maxi awarded contract for Hamilton community hub

Maxi Construction has been awarded a contract from South Lanarkshire Council for the conversion of existing shop units within the New Cross Centre in Hamilton to provide a 950m2 multi-purpose community hub including meeting and office space.

John Aitchison, Maxi Construction’s managing director, said: “New Cross Community Hub represents our third contract for new and improved community facilities within South Lanarkshire over the past 18 months and we look forward to building on our relationship with the council.”
The project team includes principal designer and architect Hypostyle, quantity surveyor Armour Construction Consultants, structural engineer G3 Consulting Engineers and mechanical & electrical engineer Hawthorne Boyle Ltd.
