Maxi Construction awarded £3m contracts by Stirling Council
Maxi Construction has been awarded over £3 million worth of contracts from Stirling Council for new and extended nursery facilities at Braehead, Drymen and Strathblane.
Two new 200m² timber-frame nurseries will be built at Braehead and Drymen and Strathblane nursery will be remodelled and extended. The nurseries will provide internal and external play spaces together with ancillary facilities including kitchen areas, toilets and cloakrooms.
The project teams include principal designer Currie & Brown, architect Atkins, quantity surveyor Robinson Low Francis, consulting engineers Stantec and Curtins and building services engineer Davie & McCulloch.
John Aitchison, Maxi Construction’s managing director, said: “The award of these contracts allows us to add to our extensive experience in the construction of early years education buildings. We look forward to working with Stirling Council and the project teams to deliver these facilities for the local communities.”
