Maxi secures over £6m contract awards in first quarter

Maxi Construction has been awarded nine contracts totalling more than £6 million in the first quarter of 2025.
Projects include four job centre refurbishments for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), external and internal refurbishment of Cedar House student accommodation in Kirkcaldy for NHS Fife and roof and window replacement at Lanark Library for South Lanarkshire Council.
Works to the Category B listed Lanark Library (Lindsay Institute) include repairs to the timber roof structure, stripping and reslating the roof, masonry repairs and repairs to sash and case windows.
John Aitchison, Maxi Construction’s managing director, said: “These contracts represent repeat business and awards via some of the frameworks we’re appointed to. We look forward to successfully delivering these projects over the coming months.”
