McGill secures £1.1m contract from Paisley Housing Association
McGill has been awarded a contract from Paisley Housing Association to replace kitchens and bathrooms in more than 400 homes across the town.
The contract, which is valued at around £1.1 million, was awarded through the i-Flair framework, which McGill was appointed to at the end of 2020.
i-Flair is a consortium of housing associations located in East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, and Renfrewshire.
The kitchen and bathroom refurbishment programme is set to last for two years in the first instance, with the potential to continue until 2024 or 2025, and is intended to include refurbishments in more than 400 homes.
McGill has recently announced a number of new contracts and clients including Edinburgh Leisure, Rural Stirling Housing Association and a £4m reactive maintenance contract with Oak Tree Housing Association.
Douglas Smith MRICS, chief operating officer, said: “I’m so proud that McGill is continuing its winning streak with this award from Paisley Housing Association via the iFlair Framework. One of the things that is important to us is not just the work that we do, but the way we do the work, and its our commitment to social value that often makes us the first choice for customers. When we bring young people onto our apprenticeship scheme, we’re offering them a career for life and building the McGill of the future.
“With our senior management team now in place and driving the business forward, McGill is growing at pace and picking up contracts with new and existing customers on an almost weekly basis. Watch this space as we’ve got a lot more to announce over the coming weeks.”
