MGF launches new lifting equipment division
Safety and handling equipment provider MGF has expanded into the lifting sector with a new range of products and services.
An initial phase of products will feature slings, loose lifting equipment, hoisting, blocks, winches and crane site equipment.
Chris Whitworth, operations manager, said the division will continue to expand to suit the demand of the industry, regularly releasing new products and increasing its coverage to service the nation through its regional teams.
He added: “In line with our core values of commitment, innovation and sustainability, we are diversifying our product range to supply our customers with a full product solution. Enabling a one stop-shop for all your lifting, safety, shoring and structural support needs on site – ultimately reducing time and suppliers to make the job as easy as possible.”
Alongside the new lifting products, MGF has also introduced a new testing and inspection service to fulfil the legal requirement that all lifting, safety and other work equipment can be inspected on a periodic basis by a qualified person. A team of fully qualified technicians are available to visit customers sites or depots.
To facilitate this offering, MGF is full a member of the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA).
The lifting department will be headed up by Mark Smith who has worked within the lifting industry for 20 years and has a further 10 years’ experience with plant hire. Mark has joined MGF as national lifting manager and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to enable the business’ success.
