Millar & Bryce makes managing director appointment
Land and property search organisation Millar & Bryce has appointed Richard Hepburn as its new managing director.
A former group managing director of ALcontrol UK, Mr Hepburn will be responsible for driving growth across the business and strengthening its position in the sector, as it looks to build on its unique 140 year heritage.
Bringing 10 years plus experience at MD/CEO level and over 20 years in various B2B roles, Mr Hepburn said his appointment underlines the company’s commitment to deliver new and improved services across commercial, residential and infrastructure related property transactions in Scotland.
He said: “After spending 16 years in various roles around the country, it’s great to return to my home town and to a company with such heritage and legacy as Millar & Bryce. The company has undergone significant changes in recent years, and I’m joining at a good time as we look to launch some of the innovative technology-led solutions offered by parent company Landmark Information Group elsewhere in the UK.
“For me, it’s an exciting prospect to be a part of a group with the depth and resource that Landmark has, and I firmly believe that’s what sets Millar & Bryce apart and will help to position the company as a powerful provider to the market.
“I am very much looking forward to building on the successes that the company has experienced in recent years, and driving the next stage of growth.”
Hepburn was brought up in Edinburgh and is a long-suffering Hibs fan. He is married with two children.
