Miller Homes is brightening the streets across the West of Scotland this autumn as it celebrates the fifth anniversary of its Home Safe campaign.

Designed to enhance the safety of local children, the initiative provides high-visibility vests to help keep them safe during the darker months.

In recognition of International Walk to School Month (October), the campaign focuses on making primary school children more visible as they walk, cycle or scoot to and from school. For the past five years, Home Safe has supported children across the West of Scotland, donating 8,000 vests to children.

Louise Caldwell, sales director for Miller Homes Scotland West, added: “Our Home Safe initiative is very important to us, as it helps ensure children in our communities are as visible as possible during their walk to and from school.

“As the nights grow darker, road safety becomes even more crucial, especially during October when children are encouraged to walk to school. We’re excited to see families across the West of Scotland take part this year and pick up their high-vis vests.”
