Miller Homes has completed its latest land acquisition for a new development, Greenacres, in Sauchie, just outside Alloa.

Signalling the housebuilder’s first venture in this location, the 12.76-acre site in Clackmannanshire will feature 122 energy-efficient new build homes, with construction set to begin later this month.

Located to the west of Sauchie and north of the River Forth, the site will feature a mix of four and five-bedroom homes from Miller Homes’ latest portfolio, making it an ideal location for families. With good local amenities and exceptional commuting options to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling (less than 10 miles away), and Dunfermline (15 miles east), the new community is anticipated to be highly sought after.

Miller Homes will spearhead the first phase of what will become a comprehensive masterplan that will deliver over 1,000 homes in the coming years, creating a vibrant new community.

Andrew McArthur, regional operations director for Miller Homes Scotland West, said: “This is our first development in Clackmannanshire. As more families seek semi-rural living options, areas like Sauchie, surrounded by some of Scotland’s most beautiful countryside, are becoming increasingly popular. Greenacres will lead the initial phase of the masterplan, ultimately providing hundreds of much-needed new energy efficient new homes for the area.”

Work on the development will commence this September with homes ready to pre-reserve in Autumn.
