The company is responsible for the delivery and installation of timber kits on-site as part of an ongoing £420,000 contract with Carmichael Homes.

This project marks the latest milestone in the ongoing partnership between Muir Timber Systems and Glasgow-based homebuilder Carmichael Homes, renowned for delivering high-quality housing across Scotland. Building on the successful 2024 collaboration at the former Rosslynlee Hospital site in Penicuik, this latest development further reinforces the company’s dedication to excellence and sustainability.

Part of the family-run Muir Group, Muir Timber Systems was founded in 1975 to supply timber products to its sister companies, Muir Construction and Muir Homes. Today, it serves a broad range of contractors and house builders, delivering high-quality timber solutions from its state-of-the-art factory in Inverkeithing.

The timber kits for this project are crafted using sustainable materials and are produced with energy drawn from the factory’s solar array, underscoring Muir Timber Systems’ commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.
