Muir Timber Systems completes timber kit delivery for Westquarter affordable homes

Muir Timber Systems has completed the delivery of timber kits for 17 affordable homes in Westquarter, Falkirk, in collaboration with Glenesk Homes.

The completion of this project marks the successful delivery of the third contract between the two firms.

The project consists of two blocks: a block of 9 flats and a block of 8 terraced units, providing much-needed accommodation for over 40 residents.

Part of the family-run Muir Group, Muir Timber Systems was founded in 1975 to supply timber products to its sister companies, Muir Construction and Muir Homes. Today, it serves a broad range of contractors and house builders, delivering high-quality timber solutions from its state-of-the-art factory in Inverkeithing.

The timber kits for this project are crafted using sustainable materials and are produced with energy drawn from the factory’s solar array, underscoring Muir Timber Systems’ commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainability.
