The firm’s long-standing history of bringing through new trade apprentices into the industry has continued this year with the hiring of six new trade apprentices and three new technical/professional apprentices.

Marshall said while the Covid-19 Pandemic restricted its normal intake last year, this has been remedied and increased with its completed Apprentice Recruitment Programme for 2021.

This year’s trade apprentices are Robbie Connor, Iona Hewlett and Rhys Thomson as apprentice joiners, Jack Donald as an electrician, Bailey McEwan as a plant mechanic and Oliver Easton as a painter and decorator.

In addition to the trade apprenticeships, the business decided to invest in the future of its staff by offering three apprenticeships in professional roles.

As a result, Ross Noble and Jamie MacDonald will be joining as apprentice construction managers along with Lewis Dale who will be starting as an apprentice quantity surveyor.

Marshall Construction said it is looking forward to all the new apprentices joining over the coming weeks and wished them the best of luck in their respective careers within the business.
