New associate director Graham Edwards to support HAUS Collective’s growth in new markets
Glasgow-based architecture studio HAUS Collective has appointed Graham Edwards as associate director, adding to its team of highly skilled senior architects.
With three decades of experience managing large-scale projects, he will now lead the delivery of HAUS Collective’s growing project portfolio.
HAUS Collective continues to see growth across key sectors and is involved in everything from town centre regeneration to city centre mixed-use developments, small-scale office fit-outs, and private home designs. The studio has an active presence across the UK with aspirations to build internationally.
Graham, a chartered architect, begins the new role by overseeing several of HAUS Collective’s most high-profile developments, including a hugely significant regeneration project on Sauchiehall Street, an exciting new residential community at Minerva Street, and a new hotel and short-stay accommodation building on Maxwell Street in Glasgow.
Graham joins HAUS Collective from Woh Hup (Pte) Ltd, a construction and civil engineering firm behind some of Singapore’s most iconic developments, where he was the lead design manager on Jewel at Changi Airport, d’Leedon Condominium and the Overseas Family School.
He has spent 11 years working and living in Singapore, a country famous for its striking, varied and ambitious architecture. During his time there, he had an opportunity to learn different approaches to design, construction, and project management.
Before relocating to South-East Asia, Graham spent nine years at 3DReid, delivering major education projects both locally and internationally.
HAUS associate director Graham Edwards said: “HAUS is an exciting studio with an exceptional reputation. I have followed the studio’s progress from a distance for many years and have been impressed by its desire to deliver high-quality design and its drive for success.
“HAUS has achieved so much in its first decade, so to work alongside a talented team, to share my experience with them and to support the wider growth in the home and overseas markets was an opportunity I was extremely pleased to accept.”
Murray Henderson, HAUS Collective director, said: “Our success in recent years has been driven by the very talented people we work with, and Graham is a fantastic addition to our evolving studio team. Graham’s experience complements our vision for HAUS and will be instrumental in supporting us in fulfilling our future ambitions for HAUS.”
