New central division for Hardies
Hardies Property & Construction Consultants has appointed Danny McArthur as the head of its new central division.
Danny is one of eleven new equity partners who were appointed by the multi discipline surveying firm at the beginning of April following a vigorous internal selection process to find the stars of the future.
He will head up a new central division for Hardies, consisting of the Hardies offices in Dunfermline, St Andrews and Stirling.
Danny, who has worked his way up through the ranks for 18 years and was previously a salaried partner in charge of the QS department in Dunfermline, said: “I am extremely pleased to have been chosen to head up the central division. Hardies is an excellent company to work for and I look forward to being part of driving the firm forward strategically along with the other partners, we have a very strong, positive and forward thinking team.
“Ultimately the plan for the whole firm is to become the best surveying practice in Scotland. We also have plans to open offices in England in the near future.”
Danny also outlined the role he thought new technology would play at Hardies in the future.
He added: “We are continually investing in new technology at Hardies with BIM (Building Information Modelling) coming in to use with key personnel currently undertaking appropriate training. BIM is going to play a significant role in the coming years and as a firm we plan to be leading players.”
