New director appointed at Horizon M&E Services Design
Mechanical and electrical design consultancy Horizon M&E Services Design has appointed Sarah Peterson as energy and sustainability director.
The chair of ACE Scotland and a woman in engineering advocate, Sarah was previously awarded the Net Zero Adviser of the Year by the Association of Consultancy Engineers.
Horizon company directors John Robertson and Albert Wodar have a long history of working with Sarah, from working on key projects such as the London Olympic Village and The Centre Livingston nearly 20 years ago, to more recently with Sarah providing energy and sustainability services to Horizon as a trusted sub-consultant over the last 10 years.
Sarah will lead the energy and sustainability service for the company, she will also head up its new Edinburgh office based in Rutland Square.
Horizon director Albert Wodar said: “Thrilled to finally have Sarah on board. After working together for so many years, she’s always been a part of Horizon but it’s great to finally have her formally in the team. She’s the perfect fit for us, at just the right time. Sarah is at the forefront of the industry and will provide in-house energy and sustainability expertise.”
