Plans have been submitted for the construction of nearly 40 new homes on the site of the former Hillside Primary School in Menzieshill, Dundee.
Local developer H&H Properties has put forward a proposal for a housing development that includes 37 new homes. The plans feature a mix of properties, including three 12-bedroom houses, 24 four-bedroom homes, and one five-bedroom property.
The proposal also outlines plans for infrastructure improvements, including the creation of new roads and upgrades to the Denoon Terrace area.
The application is currently at the consultation stage, which will last until early April.
Hillside Primary School closed its doors in 2017, with its pupils transferring to the newly opened Tayview Primary School, which was built to accommodate students from both Hillside and Gowriehill Primaries. The former school building was demolished in 2018, shortly after the new £13.2 million Tayview Primary opened in the same month.
