The proposal of application notice submitted by NORR calls for the erection of a facility for the manufacture, testing and operations of electronic and telecommunication equipment at Prestwick International Aerospace Park.

If approved, the development will also include car parking, telecommunications area, services yard, roads, landscaping and ancillary services.

The local authority has confirmed that the proposal is not related to the Ayrshire Growth Deal and development of Prestwick Spaceport, but said it could “boost manufacturing in the area”. 

A public consultation event is taking place between noon and 7pm on June 1 at Monkton Primary School in Station Road.
