New road link plan for £80m Jack Nicklaus golf course
Designers FM Group released details of its plans for a new road which will give the proposed Jack Nicklaus Signature Championship Golf Course easier access to the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road.
Fresh plans for an £80 million golf course, hotel and homes at the site were lodged back in February.
The multi-million pound project on the outskirts of Stonehaven is tipped to create 200 jobs.
Plans for 90 luxury homes could also help pay for the restoration and conversion of Ury House into a luxury hotel and clubhouse.
If approved, a new link road would be created connecting Slug Road to Netherley Road, passing over two sections of the Cowie Water.
A statement submitted with the plans on behalf of FM Group said: “The design and detail of the proposals have considered the potential visual impact of a development of this nature upon the surrounding area and in particular Ury House.”
