Ogilvie completes Motel One in Glasgow
Scotland’s largest new hotel is now open for business in Glasgow after successful completion by Ogilvie Construction.
The new Motel One Hotel in Oswald Street, Glasgow, which offers 374 rooms, is the first in Glasgow for the European budget designer brand. The hotel combines high quality product design with an excellent location and attractive pricing.
Donald MacDonald, managing director, Ogilvie Construction, said: “We are proud to have worked with Motel One to build their vision for a new hotel in the centre of Glasgow. Constructed to the highest standards, the building combines the use of high quality materials with excellent design to create an outstanding modern environment for a stay in the city.”
The Glasgow project is Ogilvie’s second for Motel One after the company completed the prestigious Motel One hotel building on Princes Street, Edinburgh, in 2014.
Motel One operates 65 hotels across Europe with more than 18,000 rooms in 9 countries and has ambitious plans to continue its successful expansion.
