He has joined the construction and fit-out firm on the back of a significant increase in turnover over the past 12 months and will help to maintain that upward trend over the coming years.  

Mr Devine’s appointment is a key part of Pacific’s growth strategy, which will see the company develop its offering from solely refurbishment and fit-out programmes to projects incorporating broader technical elements, including new-build extensions and structural interventions.

He has more than 25 years’ experience across the new-build and fit-out sectors and has worked with a range of leading contractors and specialists in both management and technical roles. 

Mr Devine said: “I am delighted to have joined one of the most dynamic teams in construction and fit-out, who are known for their strong relationships with big-name brands and who have a variety of projects of different scale on their books in numerous sectors across Scotland and the rest of the UK.”

Pacific, which is based at Hillington, on the outskirts of Glasgow, became an employee-owned business in January 2019, which means every staff member is a beneficiary of an employee ownership trust, which owns Pacific Building Ltd on behalf of all employees now and in the future.

The company operates within a variety of sectors, such as commercial, leisure (encompassing hotels, licensed premises and restaurants), healthcare and retail.
